Like mother like daughter?

Notice the dress Gwen is wearing in the photos taken at Graham's birthday party? When Tony dressed her this morning she took one look in the mirror and said "I look like Mommy!" (hear cute voice here) My ever loving husband replied "Yes, you're very beautiful." (awww) I guess I should cherish the years that I can dress her in my image. Soon enough I'll be saying "You cannot wear that out of this house!" :)

Connecticut Visit

Our whirlwind visit is over. We drove over on Thursday night, and left Sunday afternoon. That is over 15 hours in the car! Gwen is much better in the car now. As a baby she would scream and scream... Life of a parent is sometime hard, with few rewards in between. But the rewards are huge. Enough text! Look at some photos. :)

Hmm. Calvin really seems to like sitting in this box. Does not bode well does it? 

Gwen was in heaven in the playground in Connecticut which was near Great Grandma's house. One of her favorite things was the merry-go-round.

Ahhh! memories of swinging as a kid. I used to love the swing, and would always swing as high as I could go. 

Gwen and her new friend (Elizabeth) dance for fun! Elizabeth is Gwen's second cousin once removed. Don't make me draw a diagram... 

Calvin "hangs" out with cousin Michael. He loves to fly!

Gwen loves her cat Salacious. Sometimes it is rough love, but here we have them co-existing in harmony.

Here is a random picture of Calvin "hanging" out on Mom & Dad's bed. He was thinking about how he could get over to Psyche (our cat) and pull her tail! 

She hasn't quite figured out how to pedal. But it should happen soon! 

SOmetimes I wonder why kids do not sleep more. She was energetically running from toy to toy, playing in the sand box, and expending much energy! It exhausts me just to look at her playing sometimes. Here was a brief moment where she was actually resting. 

I think that Pam and I will need to ensure the car keys are safely hidden. She knows what the keys are for. She also calls the driver's seat Mom's seat. I guess I don't drive very often! 

Calvin loves to play on the play mat. Especially when surrounded by all of his toys.
