Like mother like daughter?

Notice the dress Gwen is wearing in the photos taken at Graham's birthday party? When Tony dressed her this morning she took one look in the mirror and said "I look like Mommy!" (hear cute voice here) My ever loving husband replied "Yes, you're very beautiful." (awww) I guess I should cherish the years that I can dress her in my image. Soon enough I'll be saying "You cannot wear that out of this house!" :)

Derek and Calvin pose for yet another photo. Thought bubble of Calvin: Dad, not another photo! Thought bubble for Derek: Tony, you ^$#^%^#%#, stop taking pictures! Posted by Hello

Derek and Calvin hang out. Notice the similar hair. Calvin will probably need to do use the same hair products to keep his hair down. Posted by Hello

Read about bugs? Gwen is all for it! She wants to get bugs from outside... great. Posted by Hello

The stairs seem to be very popular. Its the place where all the cool people hang out. Ann-Marie and Derek included. Posted by Hello

What a face! This is a face only a parent could love... Posted by Hello

Another happy photo of Calvin. What is he grinning about? Does he know something we don't? Posted by Hello

Gwen and Graham hang out on the stairs. Aren't they a cute couple? Posted by Hello

Connecticut Visit

Our whirlwind visit is over. We drove over on Thursday night, and left Sunday afternoon. That is over 15 hours in the car! Gwen is much better in the car now. As a baby she would scream and scream... Life of a parent is sometime hard, with few rewards in between. But the rewards are huge. Enough text! Look at some photos. :)

Hmm. Calvin really seems to like sitting in this box. Does not bode well does it? Posted by Hello

Gwen was in heaven in the playground in Connecticut which was near Great Grandma's house. One of her favorite things was the merry-go-round. Posted by Hello

Ahhh! memories of swinging as a kid. I used to love the swing, and would always swing as high as I could go. Posted by Hello

Gwen and her new friend (Elizabeth) dance for fun! Elizabeth is Gwen's second cousin once removed. Don't make me draw a diagram... Posted by Hello

Calvin "hangs" out with cousin Michael. He loves to fly! Posted by Hello

Calvin and Mom share a secret worth laughing about. Why is Calvin always so happy? Posted by Hello

Ever hear of a "jolly jumper"? This definitely makes Calvin jolly. Thanks for the loan Anne! Posted by Hello

Gwen loves her cat Salacious. Sometimes it is rough love, but here we have them co-existing in harmony. Posted by Hello

Here is a random picture of Calvin "hanging" out on Mom & Dad's bed. He was thinking about how he could get over to Psyche (our cat) and pull her tail! Posted by Hello

She hasn't quite figured out how to pedal. But it should happen soon! Posted by Hello

SOmetimes I wonder why kids do not sleep more. She was energetically running from toy to toy, playing in the sand box, and expending much energy! It exhausts me just to look at her playing sometimes. Here was a brief moment where she was actually resting. Posted by Hello

I think that Pam and I will need to ensure the car keys are safely hidden. She knows what the keys are for. She also calls the driver's seat Mom's seat. I guess I don't drive very often! Posted by Hello

Calvin loves to play on the play mat. Especially when surrounded by all of his toys. Posted by Hello

Gwin gives "Grandpa" Steve a big kiss. Posted by Hello

Calvin's thought bubble: Hey Dad, so when are you going to teach me how to drive? Posted by Hello
