Now here is a story... or a story teller that is. Robert Munsch came to town, and Gwen and Mom got to go! They listened to him telling fabously outrageous stories, and he was apparently quite animated! Here Gwen is rocking the baby in Love you Forever. Posted by Picasa

Sound asleep. Gwen was sick this day, and she was a trooper. She slept very soundly at Granny and Gramps' house. Posted by Picasa

Gwen and Mom had a great time decorating the gingerbread house. It looks fantastic! Posted by Picasa

Gwen still has a small bum. She is so cute when she falls asleep on us when we are reading her bedtime stories. Posted by Picasa

Gwen loves to decorate cookies. Can you tell which ones were Gwen's, and which ones were Pam's? Posted by Picasa

The kids grow so fast! Here hand is growing. It is still small in my hand, but not as small as it once was. Posted by Picasa

Ah! A little tree decorating can cause kids to come running at you, and stick on you like magnets. They are very hard to remove once stuck. Posted by Picasa

Hi! How are you? My name is Calvin. Can I shake your hand? Or at least that is Dad's tranlation for "hahahgghghh!". Posted by Picasa

Here is Calvin, using the water jug to walk! He pushes it around, and actually moves it the way he wants to go. It was very cute watching him work out the mechanics. Posted by Picasa

Here are Calvin and Gwen at the Old Navy store. They always require a visit to the dog if we are there. Gwen loves to sit beside him. Posted by Picasa

This photo is a memory for the parents. When we see this, we also hear his "uuahh... uuahh... uuahh..." which basically means he wants us to pick him up. Sometimes it drives us a little crazy. Posted by Picasa

Here is ballerina Gwen, caught in action. One of her favorite pasttimes is running around the house in circles. Posted by Picasa

Here is Gwen's classmates. She has so much fun in school! Posted by Picasa

The case of the disappearing snow

As those of you in Montreal are no doubt aware, we had out first big snowfall today. Gwen (of course) wanted badly to go out and play in it. I told her that Calvin would have to nap for that to happen and he (of course) did not oblige. Nap time came and she, in a desperate attempt to not lie down and fall asleep, was standing on her bed looking out the window when the snowplow came to clear our driveway. I was summoned to her room by her despairing wails. When I asked what was the matter she said, in her best woe is me I am very sad voice, "They're taking my snow away!" I managed not to laugh as I reassured her that, indeed, the snow would likely be here until March and that the plow wouldn't touch the grass, only the driveway and the street.

Disclaimer

Sorry for the delay in posting this time. We have tried to re-organize the pictures into some semblance of chronological order but alas we are not perfect. Everything dated November 24th may actually have occured sometime in the last 6 weeks. We will strive to do better next time :)

Calvin is a climber. He worries me much more than Gwen did around the house. I think he is going to be climbing shelves, furniture, etc. At least he is cute! Posted by Picasa

Calvin has grown quite a bit. He is now getting a bit pudgy again... time for another growth spurt? Posted by Picasa

Calvin and Gwen love to spend time in Mom and Dad's bed. Posted by Picasa

Son and Mom pose for the camera. Hmmm... blackmail material I think.... Posted by Picasa

The stubble is gone! Fresh shaven Dave is ready for RCMP duty again. Posted by Picasa

Calvin loves to crawl up to you, and plop down for a quick hug. Then, *zoom* ... he's off again to the next item to be destroyed... Posted by Picasa

Uncle Dave and Calvin get cute. Calvin loves to laugh. You can't help but laugh as well, no matter how tired you are. Posted by Picasa
