We were coloring eggs yesterday (or should I say Gwen was, with supervision from Alexandria and management by her (great) aunt Barbara and her dad...I was busy feeding her insatiable brother). Paint brush in hand, Gwen had a palate of at least 8 colors in front of her and yet every egg she produced was...you guesed it...purple. Now my color preferences are well documented. We even painted her room purple. I had always figured that would mean Gwen would competely echew the color once she was old enough to speak. Apparently not. :)

I don't think it would happen as soon as that - I suspect this is something that Gwen will carry with her for the rest of her life - either a love of the colour that you share, or a distaste for it so strong that she'll vow never to wear or paint it again.
Yes Pam, we all know that your favorite colours are purple and green. It is also assumed you went looking for a husband that enjoys those same colours. Well, here is to Green and Purple, and our house, with all its green and purple rooms. :)
